hello there!

I'm Jenn. A wife, mom, and fanatical photog from Upstate NY.

To say I had always planned on becoming a photographer couldn't be further from the truth. Technically I should be owning a little diner right about now. Something very "Luke's" or "Lunchbox" inspired. If you know, you know. I guess God had other plans though, because the moment I got my degree in hospitality was ironically also the moment my husband and I decided to buy a home and start a family. Right from the start, I knew that my place for at least the next few years would be home with my girls. That decision is a big one for any family, it doesn't work for every family. I'm grateful that it did for ours. Little did I know, that very decision would one day lead me right here, to this moment- typing up the "About Me" section for a website chock full of work I've put my heart and soul into.

I can still remember the moment I purchased my first Nikon DSLR. Its intended purpose of course was to capture memories with my own family. I had an eye and a growing passion, but technically, I hadn't a clue. Throwing yourself into that world can be so overwhelming, and it was. But I soon began to research photography courses, which lead to photo shoots for friends and family, which eventually lead to assisting Wonder In Adagio with weddings, which got me to where I am right now. Always learning, always growing, in a space I feel meaning and purpose.

The job of telling your story through pictures is one I don't take lightly. The idea that a photo I captured may continue to hold importance and admiration from one generation to the next, is a breathtaking concept to me. Not just because I took it, but because I was given the honor and opportunity to do so. For that, I am grateful every day.

10 years ago, I would have never pictured this as my future. Now, I can't imagine it any other way.
